I'm Participating/Goals/Day 1 Progress/Day 2 Challenge

Bout of Books
This is going to be an all-around post. Meaning I am a day late to starting and I have a lot to write in this post lol.

I already declared my intention to participate last night on Twitter, but I figured since I will more than likely be posting some things on here, that I should declare it again.

So, I AM PARTICIPATING!

Bout of Books is a super fun read-a-thon that happens multiple time throughout the year and I absolutely love participating! Today is the last day to sign-up so, if you want to participate with me, find more information below and HERE.

~~~
The Bout of Books read-a-thon is organized by Amanda @ On a Book Bender and Kelly @ Reading the Paranormal. It is a week long read-a-thon that begins 12:01am Monday, January 4th and runs through Sunday, January 10th in whatever time zone you are in. Bout of Books is low-pressure. There are challenges, giveaways, and a grand prize, but all of these are completely optional. For all Bout of Books 15 information and updates, be sure to visit the Bout of Books blog. - From the Bout of Books team
Goals:
My goal is to just have a fun and stress-free read-a-thon. Normally I set how many books I want to read, but I think this time I will just say that I want to try and read everyday. Doesn't matter how much or how little, just that I read something.
---
Progress:
Since I am a day late to starting, there is no progress lol. My progress is that I am finally participating.
---
Challenge:
Some of the daily challenges I find MEH, others I love. Today's, from Writing My Own Fairy Tale, is one I love! It's Bookish Would You Rather!!
Would you rather:
Lend books to someone who dog-ears pages or to someone who reads with cheesy Cheetos fingers?
This is such a hard one for me, but I think I will have to say lend to someone who dog-ears pages. I absolutely hate it, but I would much rather spend time trying to smooth out creases in my book than forever live with gross, orange, Cheeto dust on my pages.
Would you rather:
Be able to meet one character of your choice or meet one author of your choice?
If it was the real deal, like jump inside the story and meet them, I would choose meet one character of my choice. Who that is? I have no idea. Actually, probably Katie from Jennifer L. Armentrout's Lux Series, because we have a lot in common (minus the aliens). If it's meeting someone who plays the character, then I want to meet Katniss Everdeen/Jennifer Lawrence HANDS. DOWN. We will become best friends and hang out all the time lol. My gut instinct first told me to say an author of my choice, but after thinking about it I meet authors all the time. There has only been three authors that I haven't gotten to meet and that is Stephenie Meyer, J.K. Rowling, and Suzanne Collins. I feel like one day this might come true, though.
Would you rather:
Never be allowed in a book store again or never be allowed in a library again?
Never be allowed in a book store again. I can get all the free books I want at the library. PLUS, you didn't say I can't online shop so, I can always still buy the books I want to showcase on my shelf online.
Would you rather:
Have to choose one of your favorite characters to die in their book or have to pick one of your favorite couples to break up in their book?
I would much rather choose a favorite couple to break up, rather than have a favorite character die. Couples can always get back together. More than likely they have already broken up at least twice, but killing someone? That's forever. Rarely does someone come back from the dead, and it has to be pretty believable.
Would you rather:
Be required to read Twilight once a year for the rest of your life or The Scarlet Letter once a year for the rest of your life?
I would absolutely LOVE to read Twilight once a year. Twilight is my JAM! As you can tell, I am a twihard. I hate the classics, I know *gasp*, so I would never choose to read The Scarlet Letter. This has even inspired me to think about re-reading the series once a year for the anniversary...
