Top Ten Tuesday is a weekly meme hosted by The Broke and the Bookish. Each week there will be a new topic for everyone to create a top ten list with.

This Weeks Topic:
Top Ten Most Intimidating Books (might be intimidated by size, content, that everyone else loves it but you are sure you wont, etc.,)

Intimidated By The Length
"Divergent" By Veronica Roth
"City of Bones" By Cassandra Clare

Everyone Loves Them, But What If I Dont?
"Vampire Academy" By Richelle Mead
"The Raven Boys" By Maggie Stiefvater
"Fallen" By Lauren Kate
"Beautiful Creatures" By Margret Stohl and Kami Garcia

Other Series I Haven't Tried By The Authors I Love
"The Au Pairs" By Melissa De La Crus
"Half Blood" By Jennifer L. Armentrout

Authors Everyone Loves, But I Haven't Tried
"The Fault in Our Stars" By John Green
"3:59" By Gretchen McNeil

  1. I adored The Fault In Our Stars! Hopefully you'll try it out sometime and adore it as well. Beautiful Creatures was a complete fail for me, but I greatly enjoyed Vampire Academy. Lovely list!

  2. Here's my input on I've read on your list:

    Divergent - great world building
    City of Bones - "eh"
The Raven Boys - awesome characters
Vampire Acadamy - I'm reading it. Chapter one looks good, lol
The Fault in Our Stars - not my favorite book of the year, but John Green definitely knows how to make a statement. Very realistic teenagers. I would bet that he has a teenage daughter of his own, but I don't know for sure.

3:59? Never heard of it, but I love the cover.

  3. I think Fallen is a miss or hit. I like the series but it's starting to get boring now :/

    Here's my Top 10

  4. I'm definitely intimidated by TFIOS as well. Everyone seems to love it but I'm just afraid being in a genre I'm not fond of that I'll hate it.

  5. The Raven Boys has been on my TBR list for way too long. I know that it is going to be great, but I just need to start reading it! Great selection.

    My TTT:

  6. Thanks for some feedback on my choices. Will definitely be reading The Fault in Our Stars soon as well as Vampire Academy!

  7. Thanks for the input! I will definitely take it into consideration for which of these books I will read soon =D

  8. That's what I am starting to think as well. I don't think it's one of those series that has middle people. Thanks for stopping by =D

  9. Yea, it definitely plays a factor in when I'll actually read it lmao

  10. Exactly! There are so many books I own that I haven't read yet that I KNOW I will love, but I'm still intimidated to just read already LMAO.
