BBReview: "Red Ridge Pack Series 2.5: Born of Lies" By Sara Dailey & Staci Weber

Genre: Young Adult - Paranormal/Romance
Publishing Date: July 3rd, 2013

Format: E-book

Description:
Lillian Michael’s world changed the day Marcus chose her. Gorgeous, strong, fierce…and soon he would be alpha of her werewolf pack. But then the marriage was set. No choice. No looking back. Except, she did. Lillian started looking forward, too, and wondering if eighteen was too young to give away her life.

Certainly, it is tonight. A rock concert. She and her friend, intoxicating music, sweat, bodies, freedom…and him: Paul. The human guitarist’s touch makes her soul sing like the strings of his axe, and everything is possible. Yet, Lillian’s parents, her secrets, her entire world lies elsewhere. Paul doesn’t even see what she is, what she can do. What she must do. This to-die-for human is not of her kind. And yet, something special, something terrifyingly perfect, something eternally true has been…born of lies.

Review:
Seriously, this is probably one of the best prequels I have read in a long time! It was absolutely amazing. I completely adored Paul and Lillian's story. It was a beautiful story and made me feel all warm and fuzzy inside. It honestly made me feel so lucky to have the relationship I do with my fiance, and that is what you want a book to do to you, make you feel something.

It was just a really great all around story and very interesting to hear how everything happened before their kids were born. Even though it is a prequel, it definitely can't be read out of order of the first two books. You honestly will not experience all the emotions this book brings if you don't read the first two to really learn about these two's characters and you won't understand some pieces of it. It will also completely ruin one of the series cliffhanger/shocker moments.

This book really gave me a whole new sense of the series and made it feel much more well rounded. I feel like I know the characters so much better and understand everything more clearly. I always kind of wondered what the full story was with Lillian and Paul, and why it was so difficult for them to come back to the pack, and now I completely understand.

Overall:
Amazing story! It was seriously beautiful and heart warming, and definitely one of the best prequels I have read in a long time. It gave a whole new view on this series and gave much more insight on the main characters. It was awesome to learn how everything started in this series story. I absolutely loved this book and highly recommend those who are also fans of this series to get their hands on this book, because it will make you see things so much clearer.
