If you recessed your memory because of a traumatic experience, but only lost the memory of that 24 hour period would you want someone to just tell you everything that happened or would you want to remember on your own?
I think I would want someone to tell me small pieces to get my memory going, but I kind of would want to figure it out on my own. Depending on if I even wanted to remember it at all. I would want them to tell me the short version of the gist of what happened and then let me remember, because i wouldn't want their opinions to influence what my real memories of that day were. I think it would be better for me to search myself and remember what happened rather than hear it from other people. I think it might be better that way, but I would also want to know the gist of it, because I wouldn't want to look dumb not knowing what happened. "What happened?" "I don't know.."
