Description from Goodreads.com:
Time is running out & the Dark that's been chasing Syd for many lifetimes has finally caught up with her.

Sydney Roberdeau lost her parents as a young girl. Waiting for her life to start and the freedom that will come with her eighteenth birthday, Syd spends much of her time haunting the local cemetery. It is there, stretched out among the dead, that she feels most alive, most at home. Until one rainy night when Beau, Sarah, and T.J. crash her ghostly sanctuary, appearing out of nowhere, turning her already inside-out world on degree past upside down.

Syd must now revisit her past lives, dressing in the bodies of her previous selves & bone dressing. Her only chance to outrun the evil breathing down her neck is to face her own worst nightmares and her strongest desires. But if she can't stay out of trouble in this life, how can she possibly fix mistakes from past lives? And just how many lives has she lived, loved, and lost? What is Syd exactly, and what will she risk for the life of a man she doesn't remember, the man she spent a lifetime with, the man she loves? Everything including her very own life?

Bone dressing, the first in a series of seven books, will carry Syd and Beau on an adventure that transcends life itself.

Review:
Like i stated yesterday in my "Question of the Moment" i don't necessarily believe in past lives so i definitely had a small notion that i might now be able to buy into it and enjoy the story, but much to my surprise i completely bought in.

Bone Dressing is extremely captivating. Syd's story draws you in and makes you keep reading faster and faster until the end. I completely loved this story and i cannot wait to read more! I did read a review on goodreads that said that they didn't love Syd's character at first, but that she eventually grew on them and that is almost what happened with me. I didn't relate to Syd, because i've never lost a parent, gotten into trouble, etc., but i could definitely relate to her emotions. I was able to look past the parts of her that i didn't relate to and bond with her emotionally and once she met Beau and got super sarcastic i definitely bonded with her, because i am one sarcastic girl. If you start reading Bone Dressing and you start to feel that you don't connect with her right away, please don't stop reading until you see her during one of her past lives, because you very well may connect with that "Sydney". I know there is a part relating with her past life love and i bawled my eyes out cause all i could think about what my own boyfriend, so just wait till you get to the past life to judge your connection to Syd.

Michelle Brooks writing is beautiful and it really draws you in. I really liked the flow of the book and thought that everything tied in and fit well. There was only one part that i didn't like, but Michelle definitely intended it, which was Mr. Askew. He gave with the willies and i just couldn't wipe the gross off the page. I really wish in the end when Syd confront him that she could have found something to cover up with first. If you've read Bone Dressing then you know what im talking about. lol.

I honestly don't know what more to say about this novel that i am sure others have already said, but it was just really, really good. I couldn't put it down and had to read more. The romance in the novel was impeccable and i was racing to get to those parts.

Overall:
Bone Dressing was AMAZING! I loved every second of it. At first i didn't relate to Syd, but i did relate to her emotionally and could definitely relate to her sarcasm, because half the time thats the only language i speak =D. The romance in the novel was beautifully done and i was racing to get to those parts. Michelle's writing is beautiful and draws you in. Trust me, you will not be able to put this novel down =D
