Follow Friday #14

This Weeks Follow Friday Question:
If you could change the ending of any book (or series), which book would you choose? Why and to what?

First off, i am very scared to read anyone elses, because i dont want any spoilers. I think i am going to have to proceed with caution when reading your guyses, and just find the book title, then if i have read it then ill continue on HAHA.

Anyways i think the book ending i would change would be the ending of Forgive My Fins by Tera lynn Childs. I wouldn't change it too much, but i would change the fact that now they aren't bonded and that now he can't be a merman. I would change it so that her father never really severed the bond and just told her that so she would realize what she is losing and then when she realizes what she's done he tells her nothing has happened yet and they stay bonded or that she goes after him, before he breaks the water's surface. I just think he liked it so much down there and that he would have been just as happy being a merman.

  4. I had to skim many of the answers to this week's question for fear of spoilers! On the flip side, this hop has been very useful in helping me determine which books I really should read!

  9. Being the maverick that I am, I penciled in my own addition to this week’s Follow Friday question and then answered it.

Change the ending of a book? No way, no how.

From the perspective of a reader – it never even dawned on me. As a writer I find the notion sacrilegious.

Wait! I can explain! Follow me back to my blog for all the verbosity – http://www.howardsherman.net

  10. Ugh, I tried reading Forgive My Fins and didn't finish. By the first few pages I knew exactly how it would end and that just ruined it for me. I even flipped to the end to confirm my suspicions and yup. I won't say I want to change the whole book because it wasn't bad. Just really predicable for me.
