Booking Through Thursday #17

Booking through Thursday is a weekly meme where we discuss a bookish question.
This Weeks Question:
1. What do you think about reading aloud/being read to? Does it bring back memories of your childhood? Your children's childhood?
2. Does this affect the way you feel about audio books?
3. Do you now have times when you read aloud or are read to?

1. I cannot be read to by a person. I will definitely fall asleep to them reading, and i often find it difficult to read out loud, because i read much slower that way and i often stumble over words or get tongue tied.
2. This doesn't affect the way i feel about audio books, though. I thought that it would, but then when i finally tried audio books i realized that i loved them, and for some reason i can be read to that way without falling asleep.
3. I dont have times when im read to, other than audio books, and i dont read to others, but sometimes i read out loud to myself when im really tired, but want to read, because then it makes me focus and not fall asleep.
