BEA Recap & Book Haul


HOORAY, IM HOME!! 

That is right, I am finally back from BEA!! This was my second year at Book Expo America and it was just as amazing as last year! I had such a great time, but for whatever reason I did not take any pictures this year. I vow to make next year full of pictures! Here are some of the pictures that I did take, though...

This was the first BEA related photo I posted on twitter. It completely sums up how pumped I was for BEA lol. 

This was a cute sign I saw while standing in line for Gretchen McNeil. It completely sums up my whole summer life!

This was my ticket for Kami Garcia. Yea, I was #106. Yea, I still got a book even though the line was ridiculous, and Yea, it was completely worth it! Kami was so nice and dressed adorably. I wish I took photos lol. 

This is a big group photo of some book bloggers and I at the BEA Book Blogger Picnic in Central Park. It was so cool to meet some fellow book bloggers outside of the craziness that is BEA. 

I did get two photos of Jim Gaffigan only because I knew people wouldn't believe me when I told them I met him. Plus, I was told while waiting in line by staff that I was so far back in line that I probably wouldn't get a copy of the book at all, BUT I DID!! 

I asked him if I could take his photo really quick, so he did this face LMAO. He signed my copy saying "To Becky, My Best Friend". I saw him sign two others saying "Congratulations on getting out of jail" and "You're my Hero" as well LMAO. 

I honestly had such a blast! I really do wish I would have taken more photos, but I promise next year I will completely chronicle my trip with photos. I won't go overboard, but I will definitely take a picture of every author I meet.
