Follow Friday #7
This Weeks Follow Friday Question:Let's step away from besties...What is the worst book that you've ever read and actually finished? This is hard, i havent read too many bad books since i usually pick them out really well. I would say it would have to be "Lord of the Flies" By William Golding. Im sorry but that book is just boring and pretty f-ed up how these kids act. The whole time reading it i just wanted to punch them in the face. Now i didn't pick out this book, i was forced by the man (high school =] ) , but the worst that i picked out for myself would be "Tantalize" by Cynthia Leitich Smith. It was just a let down. I was so excited when i got to buy it, because ir sounded really good, but after i read it i was just disappointed. I feel like she just didn't know how to end it so she just wrote The End. She just kept building it up to be good and then it just fell through. I respect her as an author and person, but that book was just no good. Haha I never liked books which ended abruptly with "The End"! It's like the whole story is gaining momentum right to the end, then suddenly it ends with two words. Anti-climatic!
ReplyDeleteOld follower :)
