Genre: Adult - Paranormal/Romance
Publishing Date: April 29th, 2008
Page Count: 357
Source: Local Library
Format: Paperback

Description from Goodreads.com:
Half-vampire Cat Crawfield is now Special Agent Cat Crawfield, working for the government to rid the world of the rogue undead. She’s still using everything Bones, her sexy and dangerous ex, taught her, but when Cat is targeted for assassination, the only man who can help her is the vampire she left behind.

Being around Bones awakens all her emotions, from the adrenaline rush of slaying vamps side by side to the reckless passion that consumed them. But a price on her head—wanted: dead or half-alive—means her survival depends on teaming up with Bones. And no matter how hard Cat tries to keep things professional between them, she’ll find that desire lasts forever…and Bones won’t let her get away again. Original.
Review:
One thing that I am happy I didn't do was read the books description before starting book two. As soon as I was ready to start reading it I just jumped in, because book one's cliffhanger almost killed me. I'm happy because then I never saw Bones coming. I was just hoping and praying that they would eventually find each other. Luckily, for me they did and I absolutely love the way they end up meeting up. It was seriously so perfect and foreboding.

I love that we get to know Cat's team and love seeing how they react to Bones. All the truth that comes out in this book is seriously mind blowing and I cannot wait to read the third book. What happens in the last ten chapters of One Foot in the Grave has some serious play on what is going to happen in book three. I feel like with each book there is a whole new life for Cat and new thing for her to get used to. It's so exciting! lol I have a good feeling book three might be my favorite in the series.

Overall:
I loved this installment to the series. It was so exciting to see how many truths finally came to the surface. Cat's life is seriously rocked, and I couldn't stop reading to find out what was going to happen. I absolutely love that Bones is back, and I loved getting to know Cat's team. Luckily, there wasn't another killer cliffhanger in this one, but I still can't wait to find out what is going to happen next in book three. If you haven't picked this series up yet, do it already.
