Week #5 Questions

1. By finally returning to her art, Echo is working through her issues and taking control of her life. While she's not ever going to return to her previous "normal", she uses her art as a way to work her way to a place where she's more comfortable with herself. How do you deal with the issues and stresses of your life?
I really think over everything, talk to myself like a crazy person (lmao) and let everything out. I then usually cry it out, decide what my plan of action is to rectify the situation and then I keep myself busy to keep my mind off of it. When I get mad i get MAD, but I don't like being mad/sad/angry. I like to fix things so I tend to talk myself down and then stay busy to keep those feelings from returning. If I could paint I probably would do that so I'm glad Echo started doing that again, but for me I usually read, blog, or clean.

2. Once Noah gives his brothers and their soon-to-be adoptive parents a happy ending, he decides toget his own by winning Echo back. Why does he think stealing her file is the best way to do it? Any other (better) suggestions for the poor boy?
I think he thinks its the best way to get her back, because when she got the chance to see the files she went for his like they planned and he has never gotten to see hers. It made him so happy to know something about his brothers foster parents and he wanted her to feel the same so he thought if he could give her the one thing she wanted (answers) she would love him again. I think instead he should have done some big, grand gesture to prove his love. He should have done something so nice and sweet and loving that she couldn't turn him down and at least just hear him out.

3. Echo finally uncovers the terrible truth of what her mother did to her. Now that we know the truth, do you think Echo's father did the right thing by covering up the incident and keeping it from her? How do you think he should have handled it?
I don't have children, but I think if I did I would want to keep them safe and I think he thinks he was doing that. When she didn't remember what her mother did to her he didn't want to make her think ill of her mother purposely and he didn't want to remember such a horrible thing in the first place so I think he was just trying to protect her. I think, though, that if he was going to just let her figure everything out on her own time in her own way that he should have coddled her instead of shielding her. He should have made it so that when she did remember that she had a safe place to run to, not feel alienated even more.

4. Mrs. Collins plays an integral role in helping Echo and Noah find a new normal and happiness in their lives. Tell us about someone in your life who helped you, someone who changed your life, was there for you, or offered help/comfort when you most needed it (or when you didn't know you needed it).
That person would be my loving boyfriend, Zack. He is always there for me no matter what and will listen to me bawl my eyes out and will hold me and tell me everything is alright. I truly love him for that. He is always willing to do anything to make it better. Except of course when the anger is directed at him, then he is a butt head, but then makes of for his jerk self later once we've made up =)

5. Another major truth is revealed when Echo's father finally opens up to his daughter and tells her about their mother and how his relationship with Ashley evolved. Knowing this, how do you feel about Ashley now? And what did you think when you learned the name of the baby?
I don't hate Ashley SO much as I did the whole time I was reading PTL, but I still think she is an idiot. I never really blamed her for everything except getting herself in way over her head and not knowing how to act accordingly. I think she is alright, but I definitely do not love her. I thought the babies name was really sweet, and I think that that was the kick that Echo needed to know that she isn't her mom or her dad, she is herself and its because of her brother. She realized she doesn't want that baby to be like Ashley or her dad either and wants him to be like her, his own person.

6. Echo and Noah ride off into the sunset together. *happy sigh* If you had the chance, who would you ride off with and where would you go?
I would ride off with my boyfriend and I think I would want to go to California. I would want to site see and bask in the sun and just be happy and carefree. I live in Michigan so there isn't a whole lot of basking in the sun and site seeing lmao
